Lucy joined the team in August 2022. She has been fishing since she was five years old after her dad first introduced her into the sport.

A qualified game angling coach (Level 2 UKCC), Lucy enjoys introducing newcomers to flyfishing, especially women and children, and she founded the Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club in 2010 to encourage more females into it. Lucy has also been the lead coach in the north of England for military veterans’ charity, Fishing For Heroes since 2013, which supports military veterans suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) through fly fishing as a form of therapy.

When not fishing, Lucy enjoys the outdoors and is a keen hiker. She has scaled many of the well-known hills and mountains including Ben Nevis, Scafell and Helvellyn and she would love to one day take on a much bigger challenge.

Lucy has worked in the fishing tackle industry for over 14 years, including holding marketing positions with fly fishing brands including Hardy, Greys, Shakespeare and Orvis. Latterly Lucy worked at J Barbour & Sons.
