Pheasant Plucking
Amy Willcock, The Shooting Gazette's food and lifestyle writer, shows you how to pluck and prepare a pheasant in this short video.

When leaving a shoot don't just walk away with anything; make sure you leave with the right bird. And once you've got your brace of pheasants home, take a look to see where the birds were shot as you'll need to pluck more gingerly in this area.

Watch the video to see how to pluck, get tips on the best method of plucking the pheasant and follow the necessary steps to make sure the pheasant is properly prepared for cooking.
