RIO's Powerflex Wire Bite Tippet is a tough, flexible nylon-coated wire that's perfect for those sharp toothed critters. Supple enough to tie a fly on to.

When building your pike leader, a shorter leader helps with turnover and keeps you fly at depth with your fly line avoiding a washing line effect.

A short length of around 5-6ft of 30lb Mono or Fluro then attached to roughly 1ft of 30lb wire trace with a clip attached to the end allows easy changes of flies.
