The Farlows Sloane Wrap coat is a brand new and very exciting addition to our Farlows ladies range this autumn.
It is a long and very flattering double breasted belted wrap coat, with wide lapels and a deep vent at the rear. We have selected a very fine tweed for the Sloane Wrap, which as gorgeous grounds of bronzes, beiges and sandy coloured yarns, woven up into a glen check. It is simple yet very elegant and the 430g per running metre tweed has a super drape to it, which is really essential for a long flowy coat like this. As with the majority of our Farlows collection, the Sloane Wrap coat is proudly made in England, with tweed made in the Scottish Borders.Â
In the same tweed, we also have our Tweed Jerkin and an 8 piece cap.
Sandy Glen Check is woven in Hawick, Scottish Borders. It is a fantastic mid-weight tweed weighing 430g per running metre. Grounds of bronzes, beiges and sandy coloured yarns, woven into a sophisticated glen check
Fabric then sent to Northamptonshire, England, to our master coatmakers, with over 40 years’ experience. Marked, cut, sewn by hand
