South African-born Jason joined Farlows in 2015 and inherited his love of angling from his father, who taught him how to fish from a very early age with the local trout and freshwater bass his targets. His early enthusiasm developed into a passion that has seen him fish off the Malaysian coast for sailfish, in Hawaii for bonefish and in Argentina, Norway and Iceland for trout, sea trout and salmon.

In the UK Jason regularly fishes the rivers Itchen, Tay, Tweed and Dee and although he enjoys the occasional stillwater trout day his first love is salmon fishing.
