Farlows River Test & Itchen Detailed Map A2

The Farlows River Test & Itchen Detailed map is a piece of art that any angler or countryman/countrywoman would be honoured to own!

Designed exclusively for Farlows, in collaboration with our friends at Last maps. The A2 map shows the River Test and the River Itchen in great detail. It shows contours of the landscape in which the two rivers lie and not only shows place names along each river, but also shows specific houses, villages and scenes that can be seen on the rivers. We have added two tables of notable beats on both rivers, as well as many different animals and wildlife that are often seen in specific areas at different times of the year. Anyone who has fished either of these rivers will take much joy in recalling their own sightings of wildlife from their own days on the river. We have dug into our ancient archive at Farlows, to find logos and illustrations used by Farlows over the years, as well and illustrations of archival Farlows fly rods and reels. 

Printed in England on the finest Giclee paper in A2 size, using high quality archival inks that are guaranteed to not lose clarity for well 100 years! Giclee paper is archival quality, acid-free paper that is designed for high-quality fine art printing due to its capability to capture extreme detail and colour accuracy. This way of printing creates long-lasting, museum-quality prints. 

This print comes unframed, but is standard size A2 so you can easily source a frame. In the product images you will see a version of the map that we have had framed to hang in Farlows store. This gives you an idea of how it will look when framed. Here we have used solid oak frames with a mount around the print.
