New for Autumn / Winter 2025 is our Norfolk Royal jacket, woven in the Scottish Borders in a classic Glen check pattern with a plum check guard, milled by Lovat Mill in Hawick, Scotland. It’s made from 100% Cheviot wool for a great, all-round and robust working tweed weighing 500 g/m.
It’s a classic full Norfolk design, believed to be first made in the 1860’s for the 15th Duke of Norfolk, Henry Fitzalan-Howard, further popularised by The Prince of Wales in the 1880’s (who later became King Edward VII), and now brought up to date with the modern tweed production and tailoring practices employed by Farlows.
Best paired for shooting with our loden breeks, tattersall shirt and our Flying Pheasant silk tie in the wine colour goes particularly well with the plum check guard in the Glen Tweed.
For a non-sporting look why not try our Brown Flannel trousers, Tattersall shirt and a piece of knitwear, with or without a tie.

Button fastened storm collar & lapel for added weather protection
Raglan sleeve (hidden by shoulder patches) to aid movement in the field
