Harmony (2 piece, 1 tip fly rods) - from £1,150
A range of classic 2 piece one 1 tip split cane fly rods finished to the same high standards and quality as our Symphony bespoke range. Each cane rod is hand split, planed and straightened and made from the very finest Tonkin cane. The range includes a limited stock of our most popular and celebrated rod blanks, ranging from small dry fly or nymphing tools for fishing overgrown and tunnel conditions to larger rivers and streamer fishing. Symphony (custom 2 piece, 2 tip fly rods) from £1,500
A range of custom built 2 piece, 2 tip bamboo fly rods, each Symphony fly rod is split, planed and straightened by hand and is made to your chosen length, weight and action. Commissioning a new bamboo fly rod allows you to build a bespoke rod to suit your ideal requirements. Choose from a wide variety of finishes and hardware choices which are included with each order. Each order is undertaken by consultation with our workshops. From £1500 including all of the options below.

The Chris Clemes Gentlemans Kit is the ultimate must have flyfishermans gift.
Each fly fishing kit is custom made at our workshops in England and includes a choice of either an available Harmony or one of our bespoke Symphony split cane fly rods presented in a beautifully made custom wooden presentation case. Optional extras include a choice of a matching Maestro No278 fly reel, silk fly line, a custom leather fly rod tube and an engraved brass plaque.

Chris Clemes Gentlemans KitThe No278 Reel £580
Chris Clemes fly reels are easily identifiable with their classic raised pillar faceplate design and sunken counter balance. Each reels components are painstakingly turned at our workshop in Redditch from a variety of solid bar metals including aluminium, nickel silver and naval brass ensuring a better overall fit once assembled. Production of these fly reels is limited.
The reels feature tapered Ivorine handles, nickel silver gun screws and pillars with a gun metal anodized frame. The fly reels get their characteristic sound from our unique adjustable click and pawl drag, which provides a directional click, with the outgoing click louder than the incoming. The spools run on both ball race and phosphor bronze bearings for a smooth wind, and can be easily converted from left to right hand wind. Each reel is serial numbered and comes with the Chris Clemes inheritable warranty on workmanship.
The No278 fly reel measures 2 7/8” in diameter and is available in 3 models (00, 10 & 20) to match #1/2, #3/4 and #5/6 lines and can be easily converted to your choice of left or right hand wind. The models, in particular the 00, feature a shallow arbour to prevent line memory but with ample capacity for both silk and synthetic fly lines.
